My name is Bobi and I am from Bulgaria. My hobby is restoration of old Balkan and Ottoman weapons. My favourite rifles are Sliven boylia and shishane. I participate in the reconstruction of the uprisings in Bulgaria and shoot with a boylia. I will be happy to exchange knowledge with fellow Ottoman weapon enthusiasts. I have a lot of experience and knowledge about boylia and Balkan shishane. I have my own facebook group "restoration of old balkan weapon".

Hello Bobi

Welcome to the Forum from Missouri

Thanks for joining us. I am also an enthusiast with muzzle loading guns from the Ottoman Empire and own a number of the guns in shooting condition. I've seen some of your restoration work recently posted in the Pre-Flintlock section of the Forum. You are definitely Master Class in your skill level. Looking forward to more photos and discussions. Also, great to hear muzzle loading appears alive and well in Bulgaria. Again, welcome.

Rick
