Hello! My name is Dave and I hail from Central Virginia (Lynchburg area to be specific). Long time lurker on the forum but first time posting! I have been hunting with modern muzzleloaders for many years but am now just starting to be interested in possibly fielding next fall with a more traditional set up, specifically a flintlock. I have also been reenacting for many years as an Ansbach Jaeger in the American War for Independence. I have carried a beautiful loaner jaeger rifle for many years (thanks to a generous friend) but I've always coveted having one of my own. That being said, I will be cruising the forum seeing if there are ever jaeger rifles posted for sale and also just gleaning info from people like you that are more knowledgeable about the subject matter! Thank you!!
