"Project Farm", a YouTube channel, does excellent comparisons on many items and products...Sorry to say, Ballistol did not fare too well against its competition.

I do use it in both spray and non-spray, in fact I bought a gallon of it from a link supplied on this forum. I will not abandon it for cleaning BP firearms (moose milk) but there are better products available. I would imagine that I am not unique in that I have MANY gun cleaning, lubrication and rust preventative products on my shelves. Ballistol among them but , well, it has its place and King of the Hill is not its place.

I wouldn't stake my life on a You Tube opinion.

For all you guys who can't get enough of of this wonder elixr, you need to try this, the B&B on the rocks. One shot of your fav bourbon, one shot of Ballistol, two ice cubes and a pinch of eye of newt. Now for some people in this litigious world, that was not a real recipe (but I bet a couple guys will try it). ;)

Hank Hill used to use it, on propane accessories, but Bobby drank it…..

I’m surprised at your comment if you actually did watch the video. This man is very thorough and as scientific as a non-scientist can be. He is also very innovative on the jigs and contraptions he comes up with for testing. If you haven’t watched it you really should.

“Cures fits, warts, freckles, coughs, colds, runny nose
Guaranteed not rip, run or snag
Make conception a wonder and childbirth a pleasure”

I use it all the time. Very versatile I think. And as someone else mentioned, is smells like “gun stuff”, so you learn to love the smell in a sense
Sounds like a Cris LeDoux song.
