GUYS
REIN IT IN PLEASE

Being critical of the video production and presentation is not an insult to the presenter. It's a permitted criticism on the forum. We can disagree about the information given, we can disagree with how it's given. I know Mike pretty well, and I'm sure he knows folks love his videos, or some don't.

I had a history professor who was an award winning history author, a well respected name in the history community, and had a Ph.D. The guy couldn't teach his way out of a paper bag. Amazing historian..., lousy presenter. Didn't change what he was great at... and I'm sure other students thought his classes were miraculous, but to each their own...

I watched the video yesterday in it's entirety. Seems like a lot of good information for a beginner, which probably who the video was designed for in the first place. I don't necessarily agree with everything he said, but then that is not unusual for me either.

interesting. And just how did you come by this information? Have you seen me somewhere? do you even know who I am? Or does it just make you feel like a big man to kick me around.

So what's the big deal saying the guy is boring? It's just an opinion just like everybody else has.
I could probably count the number of boobtube videos I have watched on one hand. I'd rather be out doing the stuff than watching some guy drone on over some subject I have been actually doing since 1980.
Building flintlocks professionally for 43 years. National champion smoothbore shooter. Teaching the trade for many years. I guess it's my fault I'm bored because I actually go out and do the stuff for real while others spend all day watching boobtube videos dreaming about how cool they would be if they could only waddle outside and do it.
Hey, you like what you like, you don’t have to defend it.
I let them play while doing something else. Just finished a small wood box to carry my clay pipes to an event. You tubes armed scholar played while I was working on it, with a why file and a few from the Jamestown site (got a real cute girl talking about Powhatan women’s dress ) and an informative one on Powhatan bows
Nothing you can’t get from a book, probably nothing you or I didn’t know before.
But my wife loves broccoli and I hate it, what’s you going to do?
Honestly with your experience if you made a vid and droned through it I would no doubt give you a thumbs up and subscribe to your channel
Did you ever read Russell’s works? Talk about boring
But enough information he kept me turning the pages
