Just sent emails to both Remington and CCI guaranteeing an order of 10k of 11’s and 10k 10’s the second they’re available. Ramp them up boys! I’m down to my last thousand Remington 10’s and maybe 1500 11’s. Not sure what I have in CCI but I’m going to burn them first. I have 1800 or so Schuetzen musket caps for backups.

I ran into Ethan at that show. Talked to him for a few minutes and got one of his Dead Head stickers for taking the time to say high. The direction he was heading he must have been on his way to that booth.

I have a mixed batch of #10 CCI an' #11 Dynamit Nobel, totalling 23. I think I'll do the same.

Vista Outdoors owns CCI, Federal, Remington Ammo, RCBS and dozens of other companies. It's all about profit. Same story exists for less popular unmentionable cartridges and shotshells. Limited runs are normal business, nothing new in the industry there. The days of walking into your local gunstore and buying a tin of caps on the way to deer camp are over for the foreseeable future.
