Finally a Flintlock flush kit that really works

Hello folks I finally found a Flintlock flush kit that really works and you can move it from firearm to firearm and it fits and doesn't leak all over the place check out the following link THE LUCKY BAG

And all these years I've been putting a tooth pick in the touch hole and filling the barrel with water...

I have one gun that works fine with, and another that it doesn't seem to matter what size toothpick, sandwich skewer, bamboo grilling skewer, or whatever I use,,,, it leaks every single time.
The magnet mount flush tube from Mr. Crisalli (@davec2 ) at The Lucky Bag fixed that issue. No more leaks.

I hope your guns continue to not leak when being cleaned. But if they do, there is a good solution.

Dave's magnetic flush tube works great and doesn't leak like the clamp on model. I still use a toothpick at the range but this tube is great for a deep cleaning back at the shop.

How well does it work over a stainless steel (non-magnetic) touchhole liner?

Just don't clean it. It doesn't take long before your problem is gone for good!

Works great with my Chamber's White Lightening stainless liner. Nary a leak.

It works fine on my Kibler SMR. The magnet is larger than the liner. Sure, you can knock it off if you're careless, but it doesn't leak

The barrel is the steel that the magnet is attracted to. Some large slotted liners may leak, but those will require a work around.

I've only ever had a hooked breech ML, so I was wondering how I was going to clean my upcoming Kibler SMR without breaking the bank buying cleaning patches and solvent. Now I know! Thank y'uns for the tip.

Book marked and will likely buy when I finally get the Kibler finished. Thanks!

No need for special "solvent" anyway.
Water has worked for a couple centuries.
Water with Dawn dish soap has a good reputation.
Windex, windshield washer fluid, and Simple Green, all work....
And all of the above have plenty of other household and garage uses.

My brother finished his killer Colonial kit last year and has used the magnetic plush tube and loves it hope you enjoy yours as well

Ok.....since Hatchet Jack posted his note on the magnetic flush tube, I have had to make and send out more than 25 of them !!! To those of you who bought them, do me a favor for a while and, if you like it, keep it to yourself. If you don't like it, post something here ...........I need a rest !

That's really nifty but you don't remove the vent liner? Another thing, is it necessary to pour some water down the barrel to fill the hose? Seems like it would take a good deal of swabbing to get all the air out of the hose. I'm curious not bashing. I don't have any pinned muzzys any more and I remove my hooked breech barrels for cleaning.

Not that much swabbing to get the air out.
I do pour water down the barrel as well. But, I also added a ball valve to mine on the end that goes in the bucket of water. This allows me to let it sit and soak with the barrel full.
I release the barrel full of water our the ball valve outside of the bucket of water so that when I pump and flush with the ramrod and a wet patch, I haven't already dirtier the bucket water with what is probably the most foul water the process will see.
