Theres a guy selling a "like new' Lyman .50 cal trade rifle for $450 plus $50 ship. I looks new in box and unfired. It might even be brand new, the packaging was open but that was it, no marks, brand new and shiney, seem like a good deal??

I'd go ahead and jump on it. Less and less likely to find another like that now.
If yer not an expeirenced buyer here, please know that once you buy this gun there will be 4-5 others you want equally or more that will pop up within a week. Frustrating but geez, I've lost a few great deals waiting the for better one.

The letters CZ in a box in front of the proof marks indicate that it was made in 2020.

It comes down to confirming that the bore is in pristine condition. I have seen the ‘like new’ description claim mean it was test fired once and put away…… without being cleaned.
