Don’t waste your time trying buy ANYTHING through Etsy.
What a garbage website. Tried to take order, then couldn’t take the order, then wouldn’t accept credit card then sent a text code to my house LAND LINE for some reason for verification. Anyhow i told the wife there better not be any charges on our card from this BS outfit.

I have 2 of their hats. Ordered both off of Etsy. Ordered a classic mountain man hat in black. First time ordering a hat like that and got it slightly too big. Loved it so I ordered another with slightly smaller measurements in sand color. Fit perfect, very comfortable. Feels and looks like what my imagination thinks it would be like in 1820. My only gripe is that the 2nd hat came with a distinct fold mark across the hat. I contacted them immediately by email but didn't get a satisfactory answer. Joy said it looked like someone had smashed it, not taking any responsibility and saying it would cost 50$ plus 50$ shipping to get it reshaped. It ships in a real secure hat box which showed up undamaged. I decided to just wear it not having extra money at the time. Was already in the dog house. That being said I wouldn't hesitate to order another one. Absolutely love the hats I have and plan to order another. Now that think about it I may not have communicated properly that I was the original owner. I'm not familiar with Etsy and have only used it the 2 times I ordered hats thru them.

Agreed, tried them a couple of months ago, couldnt track delivery and it arrived last week; nowhere near their predicted delivery date.

The River Junction one will look very much like the Grizz one, 4” open round crown and the brim will finish out at just under 4” after the pencil curl. The ribbon binding really helps stiffen the flat brim and keeps its shape in all weather. When I cowboyed years ago my hat was a 5” brim 7” open crown and same maker. Years of abuse and still have it.

I’ve ordered dozens of things off Etsy over the past few years and have never had an issue with any of their sellers. I personally know one of them and I’ve heard a good deal about how the website works. Seems ideal for someone with a small business on the side.
You have to remember that each seller is an independent entity and one problem with one seller doesn’t mean all are bad.
