My long time friend and partner in the shooting sports, Ken Crane passed away this week. Ken is the one who introduced me to blackpowder, muzzleloading and the brotherhood therein. He was an excellent craftsman and artisan in period blades, clothing and history, and one heck of a fun guy. As a long time active member of the Michigan Brigade of the A.M.M. I’m guessing there might be some here who knew him or met him at some point.

Thank you for notice of passing of Ken, I've known Ken since the late 1980's
I have a couple items made by him, he was a great guy, and always willing to help out and pass along his vast knowledge of 18th life style, and associated skills.
I moved from northern Michigan, where I had lived over 40 yrs. It's been a few yrs since I saw him. I sorry to hear that he has passed. Prayers go out to his family, and friends. Rest in peace Ken. 🙏
