Funny how folks cast 20 or 30 and throw them back. Properly heating your mold and lead, should give you perfect casting results right from the start.

I admit though, out of 200 .530 balls today, I had to throw one back in the pot, due to it rolling off the table, onto the cement šŸ˜

A couple hundred more to go tomorrow and I'll be set in 54cal. Then I'll move onto the .490 balls.

Whats a good lead melting pot that's easiest to use? Looks like the bottom drop type would be a pain trying to hit the mold and keeping it working.
