I did a bit of math, 300 hours to build at $50 an hour $15,000 plus materials 😕
I could make one phone call and buy it in a couple days. Tempting. Not going to do it though. I've seen wooded land at that price... also I might need a new to me Nissan XTera, a barrel rebore and a road trip vacation.

Would also be afraid to take something so valuable to the woods!😉
 
Rock bangers?
I thought this was a thread about Primative Fire Making...

Nice video, but how did he 'bang rocks' to fire up his forge??
Well, he could have done that, but I always used a match. I think the OP was referring to the flintlock... which is sort of a "rock banger". Then again, in these days of deviants.... ;)
 
I knew a stone mason years ago, they called him a rock banger. Nice video, have seen it a couple of times. Thanks for posting it.
