Barrel : 33” round rifled barrel with 1 : 48 twist
Bore Condition : Clean and Smooth
Finish : Blue barrel, Brass furniture and a Case Colored lock-plate
Sights : The front sight is a blade fixed to the muzzle end of the barrel.
The rear sight is a folding leaf sight that is dovetailed into the rear end of the barrel.
There are three leaves, each with a “V” notch on the top edge. The rear leaf and the
center leaf pivot together and are set at 90 degrees from each other.
The front leaf can be pivoted up or down once the middle leaf is raised.
Stock : The stock is one-piece wood featuring a brass forend cap with a slot for the included ramrod,
two brass barrel bands, a straight wrist, straight comb, brass patch box and brass semi-crescent butt plate.
The front of the trigger guard and first barrel band both have sling swivels. The stock has light handling marks.
Has 2 proof marks on left side a box with AVB and a box with BH.

Italian date code : xx7 -- Manufactured in 1971.
Markings :
The top of the chamber is marked “ ANTONIO ZOLI & Co. MADE IN ITALY /
.58 Caliber BLACK POWDER ONLY”. The left side of the barrel is marked with Italian proof marks, F.A.R.A. ,
the serial number , Date Code. There is an eagle on the lock.
Mechanics : The action functions correctly. I did not fire this rifle-musket.
Box Paperwork and Accessories : There is a bayonet lug fixed to the right side of the barrel near the muzzle
(no bayonet is included). The included steel ramrod is show some oxidation.
Also, there is a spare nipple and a patch worm stowed in the patch box.
Rating : NE - GOOD-
In working condition, wear on working surfaces, finish 79%, no broken parts,
no corrosion or pitting.
Wood condition commensurable with percent of finish with dings and dents associated with 79% gun.

Very nice. I just bought one last week. I should have waited until today.
This is one of three ( all for one bid ) I bought at auction in Feb. and was delivered last Thursday.
Took me a few days to get them uncrated , looked over and take pictures.
I am keeping the custom signed flinter and selling the other 2.
