NOTE: I received a message from a forum member saying they saw this rifle on another platform. Guilty as charged. I always post on several sites to maximize reach. If anyone has concerns, let me know. Scammers abound.

Can offer Terms of 50% down and two MONTHLY payments.

Cash/Trade of equal or greater value. Hey! I gotta eat, too, you know 😋.
No extended terms. Too messy.
Everything about this rifle is great. I absolutely fell in love with it before buying it. However, it is simply too heavy for my intended use. So here it is. Beautiful. 54 Plains Rifle has a 33.5" William Large PREMIUM barrel (stamped with double JJJJ over L). The massive barrel is 1.14" across flats. Bore is excellent. 1:66ish twist. Sights are simple rear notch and front blade. The nicely figured Maple stock has minor handling marks from use. Fittings are browned iron except for poured pewter barrel wedge escutcheons. Double set triggers. LOP is 13.5". The lock is reworked from a US WHITNEY 1848 rifled musket. Weighs in at just under 11 lbs. No maker's name on gun. Not sure if maybe Large built it. He did build a few whole guns. In any event, this rifle would be hard to upgrade. It would be easy to imagine a rifle like this laying across the saddle of a grizzled frontier guide leading a wagon train to California or Oregon in the early 1850s. Photos say more than I can. $1500 + Shipping.

Heckuva nice rifle. What’s it weigh?

Just under 11 lbs. My arthritis precludes me making best use of this fine rifle.
Thank you for responding so fast. Hmmmmm that is on the heavy side of my shoulders and knees. It’s really a special gun. Maybe more of a stand gun and not one for walking the mountains with. It’s like a gem
