77 last choosdy. Been shooting since age six, starting with my dad holding my hands around his M1911A1, stolen from somewhere or other, and seriously illegal. My first seven shots went straight into the sea in front of me, and left nary a trace. Began shooting BP in 1968. Never stopped since.
My dad gave me a 1918-mfg. 1911 at age 12! But didn't really do anything with it til much later; only fired once or twice. Still have it, as a collectible. Old "gray gun", blue gone over time, came from his father, who knows where, when, or how. Meaning to get a factory letter on it even thought it's just a regular item, not special at all.

I'll be 70 in May. Started Muzzleloading at 18 when I received a Zoli Zouave for my High School graduation present. Also started casting at the same time as bullets were not available.

77 now, been shooting 65 years, BP for 63 years.
When Dad was stationed in the Philippines, the Marines taught me to shoot. Qualified with every weapon in their arsenal, liked the 135 mm field artillery piece the most - it had the biggest bang.
Back in the states, went with the NSSA and my .58 1853 Springfield.

I'll be 40 on Sunday. I shot my first BP 15'sh years ago. I grew up watching Fess Parker playing Davy Crockett on the Disney channel and playing around the yard with a coonskin cap and a toy muzzle loader that I begged my mom to buy me from a gift shop at Fort Michilimackinac. I bought my daughter a coonskin cap and I call her Daisy Crockett. Hopefully she'll take to BP and just shooting, hunting, and fishing in general.
