Hello from Central Illinois. I have been searching, reading, and learning from this forum for years and have almost always been able to find great advice as I have built my rifles and developed loads etc. I am very grateful to the contributors who offer their knowledge here. I Finally have a very simple question that I just can not find a good answer to as I build my daughter's first rifle. So, before I ask for some guidance, here is my introduction. I will do my best not to clog the forum with previously answered questions.

Welcome, from North Carolina! Smart man. 😎 All questions are welcome, but many have already been asked and answered many times on this forum, and you can probably find your answer by searching. If not, ask away! 😀

Central IL here as well. Come see us at the Prairieland Frontiersmen gun show this coming week end in Sullivan

Sunday shoot at the club.

@Thistle75, welcome from across the river.

Don't worry too much about asking questions that have been previously answered. There may be a new perspective that we have yet to see. Besides we like to resurrect topics that have been previously covered.

We do love to help, especially for your daughter's first rifle.
