Hi All,
I shoot a BP Single shot and a revolver - looking for advice on loads and maintenance. Great to be here even if upside down. Mark
Dear Kwakanine. From Perth you say, I landed at Freemantle June 1966 had a whole 3 pounds to my name non of your ten pound poms I overlanded to Ceylon .But thats not relavant . Do you know a Darrel Melbin ? he lived just South of Perth I carved him an ivory grip for his revolver . while working at Dampier never heard a word from him & he owes me a tatty Turkish flint lock lock !. & did know the late Dr Leo Laden but aside of working up North, Hedland, Tom Price ,& De Grey river Station & no little other of Perth . My first night was a splendid view of windmill flats from the two cannons up in Kings park . a Branch of the 'Starlight hotel' chain ( Very modest tarriff ). Any way just of chance he might be in a phone book" Give him a Bell ask him wheres my lock ? . Fat chance but he had a Remington percussion he was certainly a good engineer but a pratt in the writeing department .
Regards Rudyard
