Bought this stock at a gun show for $40. Just wondering what parts fit this stock. Can anyone tell from the pics? The patch box and tang look to be the same as the CVA mountain rifle I just assembled. Trigger guard is different.

So, will your Mountain Rifle barrel fit it? At one time Deer Creek assembled a bunch of Mountain Rifles from left-over parts and the funky lookin' triggerguards they used looked like they belonged on a double-barrel shotgun.

Yes, pretty sure I the CVA tang and barrel will fit this stock. Trigger, trigger guard, and lock cut outs are different. Also, it has one hole for the lock bolt. My CVA has two.

Okay, the pix help. Believe it's a CVA Hawken stock.
I thought CVA hawken's have two bolts. This stock only has one. Trigger, trigger guard, and lock inlay is different than my CVA. From what I've seen this stock resembles a TC, Investments, Cabela's rifle.

Some of the cheaper variations only have one lock screw. And that is definitely a CVA patchbox cutout. And that woodgrain is definitely the beech or birch that CVA used.
As for TC & Investarm, TC used American black walnut for their stocks while Investarm used European walnut which is usually lighter colored but you can still tell it's walnut(at least most of the time which is why they also stained their stocks).

I think it's the CVA Hunter Hawken.
I keep leaning toward a CVA. But all the CVA pics I see have two lock bolts, unlike this stock that has one. Maybe I will have to source a few different parts and pieces to get it all together.
It is indeed a CVA stock with a single side plate bolt. Found this image on a search, appears to match your stock, no model listed but serial number is #: 61-13-067743-99 and listed as a CVA Flintlock, if that helps.
you are absolutely correct that is what the stock is any of the cva barrel's of the right dimension will fit and work but you have to have the same tang and barrel ie; button or hook also the older locks or l & r locks may need some inletting by the time you find all the parts on ebay you will be at or exceed what you can buy a complete gun, to refinish or restore. but you made a great purchase on the stock should double your money if you want to sell it as a replacement.It is indeed a CVA stock with a single side plate bolt. Thanks for all the replies. Helps a lot! I'm going to the Conner long rifles antique arms and living history trade fair in Noblesville, IN this weekend. Maybe I will find some parts there.
I ordered some stuff from them last week. Plan to make a trip to their shop.
