The first bolt action?
By looking at the pics, I'd guess the lever rotates to 90* then up to vertical. Pulling it back should open the chamber for a paper cartridge. Close the action, cap on nipple, boom. Totally guessing here. Really cool looking piece. Thanks for sharing the pics.
