After waiting many many months, the newest member of my family arrived home today and she's uglier than the “Yak Woman” cousin Eddie knows or 'beautifully' ugly (if there's such a term), healthy, has no other issues in delivery thanks to UPS (United Parcel Stork) and she’s ready for some closeups only a doting father can share…

The bore needs a little TLC after having sat for a while. I took a “before” image to see how much it’ll clean up and decided to post it just for giggles.
The “cauldron” on the right is for the same purposes.

Know anyone gotta .52 round ball mold just sitting around, let me know.
And if I get one, I’ll make up some cartridges.

I fired one of those once…. Once was enough….. be SURE to wear ear and eye protection!
 
Oh yes…. And keep your support hand way away from the breech area, and wear long sleeves….
