I've been lurking for a couple of weeks, thought I'd post an intro..

Greetings from the Pacific NW!

I am new to muzzle loading. I recently inherited a custom flintlock and am having fun shooting it. I've been to one rendezvous but otherwise have just been to the range.

I'm looking for others in my area that are active muzzle loaders to learn from and possibly hunt with.

Looking forward to joining the community!

Cheers

Welcome to the forum

I used to spend quite a bit of time in the mountains outside of Portland shooting. There are so many roads the paper mills cut, and go for miles and miles.

I aint been out there in years

Welcome from me and Mrs tac, living in Eastern England, but two part-time Oregonians with friends in PDX and Tigard.

We usually spend most time down in the hills outside Eugene or down the road in Port Orford.

Here is a great place to look and learn, that's for sure, but there is also another local forum with a thriving ML following - northwestfireams - where my buddy up in WA is not only a collector but a lecturer and shooter of great popularity.
