I just couldn't take it anymore guys! The wind wasn't howling and no snow blowing so I ignored the freezing fog and loaded my 2 54's and all necessary junk in the truck. The roads were slick as snake snot and the temperature below 20. The frozen fingers and hangfires didn't help my pathetic 40 yard group. I wussed out at shot # 8. Not fired at target.

I get those urges pretty often. Just the other day they won out and I stepped out the door, walked ten feet to the bench and shot 16 shots with my 54. That last time was almost without snow but cold. I would go in the house now and then to warm the hands. Life is good for 80.
I think the groups are good for the conditions.

Good on you!. Any shooting is fine. We have been switching between rain, freezing rain and snow the last few days. Went and shot 20 shots the other day at 25 degrees and spitting sleet.

Needed the therapy. Cold and no snow today, might do it again.

We are going to a woods walk shoot tomorrow and the temps are to be around 32 degrees. That is ok because it is NOT to be snowing or raining. I don't like to shoot when the temp is below freezing with snow and blowing wind. I guess I am getting soft in my old age, or maybe a little wiser.

It's -17 below this am with a fresh 10" of snow, anyone up for a tripe to the range ???
