Since there were a few likes of my lock picture on Mr. Wenger's Marl Silver kit post, I'll avoid hijacking the OP's thread and for those who are interested post some pics of my Wenger rifle. This is Ed's version of a rifle built by a German immigrant builder trained in the classic European style who was trying to adapt to the American colonial style. It is a .60cal. 40" Rice Early Dutch profile with the big Kibler lock. I added a Chambers Early Germanic mainspring to it to give it a snappier throw. There's a story there.

He has great design and execution. Add the patience of Job when it comes to getting everything super clean and you end up with something few others could do.
