It is winter and folks have nothing better to do than fuss and complain.

They should be casting balls and cutting out patches.

I just stopped wearing out two arms and a shoulder polishing a bore and stopped to look. I think I'll go back to polishing!

I've used them and 3 Rivers Archery in the past. My shoulders have become too worn out for traditional bows anymore. Compounds are not as much fun, but it's better than not bowhunting at all.

All the ammo that was bought up by the obummer administration was destroyed shortly after the got it. This I found out from a friend that worked at the pentagon. He actually saw the list of ammo and couldn’t believe what the government needed with all the different calibers. Bottom line was they they wanted to keep it out of our hands.

We have a Cabelas here in the Grand Rapid, Mi. Area. Since Bass Pro took over it has become a joke. The gun department that is. The Gun Library is nothing but a bunch of cheap pump shotgun.. they used to have racks of used long guns on the floor. All gone. I go in there once in awhile but they pretty much don’t have anything I want. I could say more but I won’t

People are happy to be buying a firearm or related item. They understand we have to follow ATF rules. As for purchase limits, my thoughts are that they are designed to allow more customers access to scarce products. In general I'd say if you begin our interaction in a positive manner, it'll be reciprocated. I had one customer who explained to me he'd worked at Lowes over the pandemic time and said he'd noticed the civility of the customers decrease. Perhaps that's true and I try not to add to the problem.

I bought an unmentionable carry NAAmag from M&P. $259.99. Cal-Ranch $329. Sportsmans $339.00. Ya, Mom and Pop rule.

Unfortunately a lot of places like the town I live in don't have a mom & pop store. Everything is corporate or big and shiny, and expensive. My protest to this condition is mail order.

Went into Bass Pro over the weekend. Stood at the counter for 10 mins. No one said a word to us.
Evidently you have to use your drivers license and "check in" b4 they will talk to you.
We decided never to go back.

Yep, here goes.

Not too long ago the Lowes 10% discount applied to anything in the store except labor and sales items, but they have changed like many others. In the past, I purchased lumber totaling about $12,000, received the 10% discount, and purchased appliances in the past with the 10% discount, but not anymore. Found out about their discount change when my fridge died and I went to Lowes to purchase another. When I asked that the military discount be applied, the salesman said sorry, that Lowes had changed their policy on appliances. Yes, the discount still applies to many items, but you bet your bottom dollar, I will make sure prior to rolling up to check-out with a big ticket item.

Just replying and answering Two Feathers question. A store can and does set any rules they want, but Lowes as well as Home Depot did allow the discount on appliances and lumber until very recently. As for Bass Pro and Cabela's, one and the same, was a 10% discount, but now reduced to a 5% discount.
