I just finished this “Ball Bag” the leather is from a deer a friend of mine got with his ”Self Bow” the antler is from a buck I shot with my muzzleloader and the Plug I made from some Curley Maple left over from building my Flintlock. Cotton

Make a note telling the details of what was used to make the bag and when it was made. Put the note with your will or other important papers. When you pass, the bag could be passed down to others as a keepsake, even if they aren't shooters. Those of you who craft guns and accessories would be wise to do the same. Leave something behind to be remembered by!
