Schneider & Glassick Revolver .36 Caliber, 7 1/2 inch octagonal barrel, steel frame, smooth cylinder, unfired with no markings other than S&G name and numbers.
It was apparently assembled by High Standard using imported parts from Italy in 1974 - 1976.

High Standards were the only makers, that I have found, that had "Schneider & Glassick , Memphis Tenn" on top of the barrel in that type of engrave.
That's why I said - "It was apparently assembled by High Standard using imported parts from Italy in 1974 - 1976."

High Standard reportedly made the frames and used Uberti parts for the rest of the pistols and then fitted and assembled them in the US.

The High Standard Schneider & Glassick 36 caliber SA six guns were made with a blued steel frame and manufactured in 1975. Catalog # 9335. 1000 or less were made (S/N 0-1000) They were cased with a Confederate ‘D Guard’ Bowie knife. A rare bird that few know much about. The case and accessories greatly increase the value.

I didn't know they made a steel framed cased set for the Schneider and Glassic as I have only ever seen the brass framed Schneider and Glassic sets with the bowie knife.. Would love to have one.
