Had a good afternoon in Western, PA

Good shooting! Several years ago I shot a really big doe during our late December antlerless season in Michigan. It trotted past at twenty yards and I bleated it to a stop and dumped it in its tracks. In its last couple twitches, it moved a hind leg forward, exposing a rather large set of testicles. Luckily, the regulations don’t specify buck or doe, but only antlered or antlerless, so I was in the clear. I’ve often wondered how big the missing rack was; if the deer’s body size was any indication, it was probably a wall hanger.

Congratulations! Had a 6 point in our front yard on the game camera last week. Neighbor found one of his antlers in his front yard, lol. Glad you go 'im! Meat for the freezer!

Saw a video the other day of a moose that shook his head and both antlers fell off! Good looking buck!
