Looking for a "custom" 20 ga Flintlock Fowler. I am not particular on the style of Fowler or if it is 100% historically accurate, but I do want a high quality fit and finish with high quality parts. My max budget for this gun would be $3,500. Would like it to be much less than that, but if the right gun comes along, I want to be flexible. I sure appreciate you folks showing me what you have. Joel

Check out Rob Miller, he forges a lot of his parts and he tapers his own barrels. His type G Carolina musket is ~6-pounds for a 48” barrel! He also makes Fusil de Chasse and Trade muskets. Budget is < $2K.

I’ll add some full length photos later …

Oh my... that's some fine looking craftsmanship. The inletting is quite fine too! Thank you for sharing this and I will keep Rob in my brain. Does he ever have any finished guns for sale, or is he just doing custom orders?

Kashtuk Fowler, Cherry Stock, beautiful stain, gray metal, brass attachments, freaking accurate with a .595 ball, .10ticking, shoots shot very accurate, fast lock, can show you a video of how fast the lock is, about 6# and recoils like a pussy cat

Brand new Kashtuk fowler being shown and fired at the 13 minute mark below:

Hello Rob, You do fine work... I was wondering how far out you are if one was to order a trade gun, say... as early as in the next couple of days? Are you up to a year out more or less?
Hi bud ... This forum is neat but I ain't quite got it all figured out yet , LOL. I'm about 5 months out on my build list now but even that is speculative as just two days ago I called a fellow up to tell him his build time is here and he dropped out, you get the non serious ones from time to time . Give me a holler if you want to get on my build list . I can send you picks of builds and we'll hash out the details .
