So I was going to wait… shoot this next year. It’s unfired…. And I figure it’s time.

I’ll probably go site it in tomorrow if weather permits.

Got some 395gr .50s for the Long range hunter SS GM barrel.

It’s not exactly traditional, yet it sure is coolView attachment 186160
That sure is a sweet looking front stuffer ya gots there! :thumb: ☕

I’ll take this Pa Hunter carbine with me… And if time I’ll site it in.

I’ve got some 253gr Lee Real Bullets and Patched ball.

New unfired also… It’s do.

Has the newer design Tc Flintlock, and fiber optics also.

Nice shooting bag though, where did yo acquire that??

Here is the 0.50 Flintlock GPR that I use for deer. Took a nice doe earlier this week in the Missouri alternative season with it. Forgot to get a picture of the two together though.

I’m very fortunate with this Rifle, It’s very accurate and regulated with both barrels for identical loads. Sights also for both barrels.

At 80 yards off hand with a shooting stick (Safari style) I was placing with either projectile into a softball size group… or slightly better.

I got very lucky finding the correct load rite off the bat from the first shot.

First time shooting
75 grains 2F Goex
.562 ball and .018 Ox patch. Bullseyes at 25yards, then at 50.

I loaded up!!!! on those ammo components.

Next time shooting I cast some Lee Real 440gr and more .562 Balls. Both 8Bhn and water quenched em for greater penetration and I can tell you they are Very Accurate. Both regulate at 80 yards. With either projectile they hit same point of impact plus both are just as accurate.

So Deer or bigger game I’m set with the Pedersoli Ghost ring and the 3 leaf express sites reach out further. I just need to find out next time at range how far the leafs will get me.

Still fine tuning the speed loader in the leather cuff. Under rubber band is the primers and brass cartridges hold the charges.

It’s Really not bad to carry either… balanced and swings like a bird scattergun. It’s an exercise program to go hunt with it though. 👍
