Midway has 1 in 45 cal in stock
Thanks-I should have clarified that I was looking for the 50 with 1:24 twist. I wish the 45 was faster than 1:47, I have a Pedersoli Kentucky rifle in 45 with that twist rate and can’t get the results I’m looking for especially when it’s cold outside.

I have purchased the preponderance of guns in the last three years from persons on this board. Look here frequently and you may just see what you are looking for. Sometimes I see something I haven't thought about but ended up buying. Never had a problem with the shipping to me.

Will Pedersoli Muskets ever be back in stock? Very few can be found new, and used is sparce. Covid must have hit them hard.

Jack

Taylor's Fine Guns has numerous models of muskets in stock as of this morning.

Saying it was NOT the virus is like saying it was not the deer that caused the accident, but the driver's countermeasures.
IMHO :)
Yet that is true in many situations. My wife and I have kept her parents home in a small southern KS town after they passed. It’s in a thinly populated county that is overrun with whitetail deer and there are several deer/vehicle accidents every week. Most of the worst ones are due to the evasive maneuvers of startled drivers rolling their vehicle instead of just hitting the animal. 👌😉

Well, I don't think it was actually covid that hit them so hard, but the "precautions" that the Italian government forced upon it's people. Shutting down an entire world-wide infrastructure was kind of an over-reaction to a respiratory infection that was really no worse than influenza. We'll be picking up the pieces for years yet.
Right! Trump warned not to let the treatment be worse than the virus. Don’t shut down the world, to do so is an over reaction. But he wasn’t listened to.

That's what I thought a couple months ago.
Then I find out that all their guns show as In Stock. They said it was a website problem.
It really dashed my dreams, lol.

Not wishing to get into a ******* match, but tell that to the hundreds of thousands of people who died from it, and those left paralysed and disabled for life as a result of actually 'surviving it'.

Interestingly here in Australia the common Flu was statistically cited as being responsible for over 4000 deaths (mostly among the elderly and infirm) in 2019, but when Covid was announced in 2020 there was no further mention of Flu stats.
I cant comment on the American situation, but here in Australia the diagnosis of Covid infections and deaths over the last 3 years has been reported as less than reliable to say the least.

FYI guys China is hogging all the raw materials. We have a Carburetor company that is closing because they can not get raw metals. They say China says buy from them, or go without, so they are closing.
I feel that the USA has the ability to produce all the materials needed to run our country, it just needs to allow them to be produced and not sell or give them away to other countries.

Curious as to what Carburetor’ company is closing? I spent over 25 years designing and manufacturing automotive and truck fuel systems, and the carburetor went the way of the buggy whip about 30 years ago with the advent of something called fuel injection, except maybe for a few motorcycle and small engine manufacturers.

I recently retired, but dealt with a number of Italian equipment and machine suppliers, nothing directly to do with manufacturing of firearms, and their delivery dates have been pushed way out, six, eight, twelve and even eighteen months. Most blame Covid, or at least the effects of Covid.

There are delivery issues for more than just the Italian firearm manufacturers like Pedersoli, Investarm, Pietta and Uberti. That pesky supply and demand thing, I guess.

I talk with Davide Pedersoli weekly through various dealings. While it has been hard getting production up and running again they have been producing steadily since the lockdowns ended. We should start seeing more products in America soon.
I know later this month their distributor in Texas is receiving a huge shipment.

Same thing with the U.S.! Trump warned us "Don't let the cure be worse than the virus!" That is exactly what has happened.
The damn government shut down the economy and that did NOT reduce the effect of the virus at all, it just shut down the economy, and crashed the stock market. JUST STUPID !!!
