I’ve been searching for a Pedersoli Missouri River Hawken for a month with no luck. IFG, the importer (or one of them at least) told me that Italy was completely shut down for around a year and has had limited production since starting back up because of supply issues. They told me to expect a 9-12 month wait on an order placed that day and the best bet would be to get on the waitlist with one of the bigger retailers like Midway, Dixie, Buffalo Arms etc. because they’ve had orders placed for months and would be supplied before anyone else. Not sure how accurate this info is but it’s what I was told. Good luck and Happy New Year!

Well, I don't think it was actually covid that hit them so hard, but the "precautions" that the Italian government forced upon it's people. Shutting down an entire world-wide infrastructure was kind of an over-reaction to a respiratory infection that was really no worse than influenza. We'll be picking up the pieces for years yet.

Do a search for the below to see what is in stock at Flintlocks Etc. Also send Richard a note with your question, he will give you an honest answer.

The virus did hit Pedersoli very hard, some of it's migrant workers could not enter the country. Also Europe shuts down for a month each year to go on vacation.

Does it make a difference at the end of the manufacturing day when production quotas are not met?

Not wishing to get into a ******* match, but tell that to the hundreds of thousands of people who died from it, and those left paralysed and disabled for life as a result of actually 'surviving it'.

We're all going to die from something.

Shutting the entire word down and throwing it into financial chaos over a VERY small percentage of deaths was, is and always will be complete and utter B.S.

I hope the dumb@$$es that did it learned their lesson.

But I doubt it. Cuzz the same dumb@$$es are trying to put us back in masks.

I will say Dixie's shipping charges, as well as them not charging sales tax yet, is a big plus.
But their shipping this time around was double what they usually ship in. Then with the holiday...
But I'm always anxious to get a new gun.
