I recently received one of Clanman92’s excellent wool blanket Capotes to augment my admittedly meager vous’ wardrobe. Now I don’t know squat about Capotes or making garments from wool blankets and a similar amount of squat about making clothing from a pattern. In spite of that ignorance I do know good work when I see it (especially when I am laying down my hard-earned), and my Capote qualifies as fine work. Communication was also excellent as was the shipping time. Take it from a cheap SOB that buys most of his clothes at a second hand store*, one of Clanman92s Capotes is worth the money.

*I have a story about thrift store shopping that describes a teachable moment in child raising. Years ago when my daughter was not long into teen-hood, she and her posse got into second hand store shopping. Believe me, this was an activity I whole-heartedly encouraged. Later she purchased something she really wanted at full price from an up scale boutique. She was a little apologetic until I laid some Dad wisdom on her. I told her that was just being wise and prudent with ones funds. Buy inexpensive where you could to save money for nice more expensive items to treat yourself on occasion.
