That's all we need to have them going after our BP guns
Just wait for it:
Headline:
A branch of the First National Bank of Kentucky was held up by a man in buck skins wielding a flintlock rifle. There are renewed calls in congress for the banning of all rifles capable of firing more than one shot every 30 seconds.
Film at 11:00.

No wonder he's rocking such a heavy disguise, what with the shame of driving that rollerskate of a getaway car.

Also, dude better start eating some salads or the inevitable heart attack will kill him quicker than police bullets.

Just be thankful he didn't have an aftermarket 30 round magazine for his revolver. I'm sure U.S. Rep.Shelia Jackson Lee has seen one before. After all, she told us of the AR-15 she'd seen that weighed more than 4 packing boxes and shot those big ol' 50 caliber bullets.

I don't know anything about what cap & ball revolvers are suitable for cartridge conversion but I'd question whether a brass frame gun would be a good choice, but then robbing a bank ain't too bright.

just AMAZED at the STUPIDITY of some folks. Reminds me of some of our politicians. (DUH???)

Amen.

This is a sad event. In many cases it is legal for a felon to purchase an ml or C&B firearm. We all know they shoot and can be effectively used for illegal things like robbery. We have a local gun shop with a display case of C&B revolvers which he actually calls his "felons department". I don't like that but it is legal. OTOH, in some cases a felon cannot use even a so-called non-firearm. I have an acquaintance (former friend) who was convicted on seven Federal firearms charges. His sentence prohibits him from using or even having "anything that can fire a projectile". This means he cannot have a bow and arrows, slingshot, C&B pistol, anything.
