In the words of Maxwell Smart. missed it by that much. My intention was to hunt with it this year but didn't quiet make it. No it isn't a kit. T stock is a Pcatonica precarved Rigby which was ordered plain maple with my intention to stain it English walnut. Seems to be a recuring problem with them sending better wood than I paid for. The barrel is a 1 inch 32 inches long 45 caliber 1 in 21 twist shallow groove rifling. The lock is a Harold Robbins. Can't even remember how long I've had most of the parts for this one. It has changed directions more than once. Got the 3 different molds to see what I can get to work now need to spend some time casting some bullets. After shooting patched round balls for over 40 years this is going to be all new to me. Should be able to reach out with this one.

Sweet! Don’t over look paper patch bullets outta that one.
I have thought of that but haven't found a mold to try that yet. Being from a competition background I will be looking to get the best accuracy from it. It may be for hunting but I still want target accuracy getting to old to be dragging a deer any further than I have to.

Buffalo Arms Co sells paper patch bullets in several different weights and lengths for the 45 cal. If you do your own casting there are lots of good molds out there both PP a Grease Groove. Idahoron can give some insight on what has worked well for him. I'm sure that barrel will not let you down in the accuracy department.

That's the kind of rifle that gets me excited. I have a .45 1:18" twist Rice barrel in a TC Hawken stock. It isn't finished yet. I have the same sort of goals as you.
