Check with deer creek products. They bought out CVA and I bought my lefty flinter from them. See if they have any still in stock. Their website may even tell you. They are out of walden indiana.

I am sorry if you already know this but I am a lefty shooter and I would like to point out that in NO WAY does a righty gun affect a lefty shooter. My first flintlock was lefty, now all three of the guns I own are righty. Just a tip in case you see a righty rifle you think he would like. I dont even notice the flash. Just the target down range. My righty brother shot my lefty rifle all the time and didnt notice any difference. Good luck!

Being a lefty myself, I understand just how small of a needle it is you're looking for, and how big the haystack is.

Is it a production gun you are searching for? Normally, I would suggest a perc --> flint conversion, but in this case those parts are tough to source as well. The only LH replacement lock I have found is for Lyman/Investarm, but even then a flint breech or complete barrel would be required to complete the swap.

I will keep an eye out. THIS is why I "choose" to shoot right handed firelocks.

Looking for a left hand flintlock for my 14 year old nephew / would like .50 cal something short with a round ball twist.
If you are really set on a lefty then there is another forum called ALR (American Longrifle Forum) that many of us here are also members of. If you want, I am sure one of us, myself included, would put an ad out on there to increase the “traffic” for your search. Only if you want of course.
