I got caught last month with a new to me Navy .36 and a .22mg NNA revolver. Same week. I am brave (scared tho) as I swingng another deal this week! pray for me hehehe. She used to buy a new sewing machine in retaliation but that only lasted 4 machines.

Don't be suspicious of me, but my wife is pretty understanding. Everything pretty much comes right in the front door. She is getting that "those guns" blur, so she doesn't notice a shuffle or two. On the flip side, I sold an unmentionable recently, and took us on a nice vacation. So she likes guns.
I don’t ask, I just go ahead buy what I want and take my ass whipping like a man. I rather ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission.

i thought this was about new guns, not death wishes!
my gal has given up even trying to keep track. and I did sell a 40 year collection of winchesters and use that fund for my Muzzleloaders.

I long ago came up with the perfect solution to the wife issue - Buy some bling and tell her that the gun & the jewelry came as a package deal, and ask how she likes her part of the deal.

Hon, the Sun has an eleven year cycle. The ball develops an imparted current when it passes through the magnetic field and a slower twist barrel will reduce that when the Sun's output increases.
I can't remember how I got there but when I bring a new gun home, muzzleloader or modern, my wife just smiles and calls it "another new member of the family". On a good day she'll do some house work too.
What ever I spend on a new gun, is matched by the same amount in her casino kitty. Works for us!
