I just don't tell her. Most of mine come from GunBroker and I pay with USPS money orders. Then when they are delivered I hustle them straight out to my shop. I don't pester her about what she buys but still keep it to myself to avoid the eye rolling. But this is the only thing I ever do behind her back. But I'm not addicted. I can quit anytime I want... No, really...

@Hermit Tim, I too hate the dreaded eye rolling, they're so good at it.
If it is something she KNOWS she hasn't seen here before, like a .50 BMG unmentionable on a tripod, well.....They can only stay angry for so long. On the other hand they NEVER forget.
Yes, that memeory can be a killer. My wife can pull things out from her memory, chapter & verse from 29 yrs ago? Go figure!

Won it on a two dollar raffle ticket I bought from the boy scouts fund raiser outside of walmart. The girl scouts were there also selling cookies I bought a box of them also but the dog and I ate them all on the home.

I act surprised when she sees or finds the new to me rifle, then say dang it, I bought this for you and was gonna surprise you. Then she rolls her eyes at me and I ask her if she likes it. When she rolls her eyes again I say fine, I’ll just keep it for myself.
