Wow! This one has been well taken care of over the years. What caught my eye first is the condition of the checkering.

Lovely,
Thanks

Impressive, wonderful collection. Lucky they've found a good home where they are cared for properly. I mean how many times have we seen photos of old guns "the kids used to play with" that otherwise might have survived in decent condition.

Awesome, thanks for sharing. 👍

That one on the bottom looks light and handy, I'll bet it makes a fine field gun. Anymore pictures and description of it Feltwad? Thanks!!!!

Hi Feltwad,

Does pics 1 and 3, plus 2 and 4 depict the same guns?

Also, does the styling on the gun in the last pic go back further than 1780?

Absolutely lovely BTW and thanks for posting them.

Wow. Again my reconstructed eyeballs failed me. Grin.

Though I very much admire the doubles you posted, I have a special thing for single barrel sporting guns.

Thank you for the additional information.

Thank you Feltwad!!!! Some guns just seem to grab ahold of me, this one does. Wish I could take it for a walk out back.

I would love to find a flintlock sxs in 12 or 20 gauge to hunt with that I wouldn't have to sell both kidneys to buy. I've heard good things about the one Pedersoli makes but they are as hard to come by as any other. Feltwad, that is a fine looking collection!
