Hello, i am looking for a certain muzzle loader. I dont know who made it, dont remember. I had it stolen from me several years ago and am now wanting to get back into shooting.
It looks just like a Traditions .50 Cal Deer hunter. I called Traditions and they said they never made a caplock in stainless steel, only the flint lock.
It was stainless steel, caplock percussion cap, octagon barrel. Composite stock in black. It was short too.
Does anyone know who made it and where i could find another.

I have only owned one stainless and synthetic caplock a TC Grey Hawk but it had a round barrel and was a good gun. I will research a little bit and see if I can help locate something like you describe.

Traditions made a ss barrel cap lock short barreled 50. Cal it is octagon barrel for the length of the stock and round the rest its called a buckskinner
