The difficulty/cost of shipping a couple of tins of perc caps has been brought to my attention so...sorry...they will not be included in the sale.
Spike

I edited your above post to remove the percussion caps.

Hard to tell a lot, but if there is rust, pitting, bulges, say so. If bore is shiny and rifling crisp, that's a plus.
I don't see any "shiny".
Will scrub it tomorrow and get the best pics I can...without an endoscope.
Any suggestions for better bore pics?
Appreciate you
Spike

Maybe wad up a small piece of white paper and drop it down the barrel, works when I'm looking down with a flashlight, not sure about a photo. A bright white bore light is the best, few of us have them.

Will try that. It's been decades since it's been shot. I did manage to kill a nice 6 point Bull at 105 yds. in Colorado, and 4 nice Blacktails in Nor Cal with it back in the day.
Cheers

Considering this package deal, this is a fair price indeed. Being a lefty it's enticing but I know it doesn't have enough length of pull for me. Having said that, it might help to include a photograph of the rest of the accoutrements that are included with the rifle.
It doesn't look like the bore is rusty but it's not polished shiny. After running a few patches down it then it may just be some leftover carbon that is making it look a bit on the rough side. You didn't mention how much you shot it and with certain makers the barrel will need about 100 shots put through it to fully polish the bore.

Wow...good to know.
It's only been shot probably 25-30 times...and not once in almost 30 years.
Will clean it good and take those other pics today.
Thanks for the input William.

Bore cleaned with hot soapy water...no cleaners or solvents.
Pics of extras
Thanks
