If anyone is in the CenTex/Williamson County area in Texas, I've seen a bunch of tins at Cabelas and Bass Pro Shops recently.

I was Very well stocked, but thought I was getting out of muzzleloading and sold almost everything.
But the Holy Black sucked me back in.
Picked up an excellent T/C Hawken in 36 cal.
Then a Miroku Hawken in 50 cal.

Dunham's has #11's and people aren't hoarding them, I think that idiocy is dying off slowly, thankfully
 
If anyone is in or near W. KY. Paducah Shooters Supply had #11 caps last week, $11.99 per 100 IIRC.
 
Don’t overlook WallyWorld whilst driving all over hell’s half acre looking for sporting goods stores.
Fella posted a pic last week, display box said 5.34 a tin… of course it was empty because he bought them all… but that’s a great price. Ask the guy what day their truck comes then check back.
 
Okie Hog,

I used the sight but got a message of "No product was found for the SKU you entered."

Is there another SKU or did you accidently type the wrong number / transpose it incorrectly? I do that with numbers at times myself.
 
Boom Stick I got the same message, but if you look at the top line it says you can look up the sku # for an item which I did. They didn't have any in my area. The proper sku is 824707657. Good luck.

KYGUNCO doesn’t sound any worse than dealing with Cabelas and Bass Pro. I have ordered things from Cabelas or Bass Pro, had a delivery or pickup date, and then eventually been told the order was cancelled or the item is not in stock, etc. I have had good dealings with them too. I have also had great in-person dealings with KYGUNCO. I might have been a little perturbed with Bass Pro, for example, but I wasn’t a whiney crybaby about it (like some of the BBB people sounded). I have only ever filed a complaint with the BBB when there was no other recourse and for scam-type stuff.

I have lead, bullet molds, cases, powder both smokeless and real black plus all the other things that go with making my own ammo. Shortages and runs on ammo have no affect on me. I have had my caps long enough that I don't think I paid over $3 for a single can of them. Most were bought when they were $10 a thousand. Paying $11 for 100 caps would be hard for me to do. If it came down to that I would probably sell my currant guns and just buy a flint lock and get serious about making my own flints.

They don't seem to go bad. I didn't shoot BP for at least 10 years and my shooting pouch was stored in the attic with a capper full of caps. In the Texas the heat in my attic gets well over 100 degrees. When I shot for the first time in a very long time I used those caps in the capper first. Everyone of them fired perfectly after being left in the attic in the heat and the winter cold. So I never had a problem with buying in large quantities.

I recall the First Great Gun-n-Ammo Panic, when we all thought that Hillary was a shoo-in for the White House, even guys who never intended to reload stocked up on modern primers.

The first one happened earlier than that. Her husband prompted one as well. And then there’s the ‘68 GCA. That one just ****** everyone off. No more buying S&W triple locks (or whatever) through the mail…

That’s my thought too. One of my neighbors hates Cabelas and has for a long time. Swears they’re out to screw their customers. That may be true today, I don’t know, I haven’t shopped there much since they started carrying all the Bass Pro/KMart level of quality merchandise. No thanks. I can go to Walmart if I need cheap Chicom manure.

But his beef dates back to the 1970’s when they were a top tier outdoor sports mail order retailer with the most generous guarantee on the planet. He just wouldn’t be satisfied with their service. I could not understand that. Still can’t but I remember being in his kitchen when he was on the phone with a CSR and he was cursing at them for some slight, real? or imagined. (Oh yeah!)
