Very nice piece you have, love everything about it. Does TVM build them or just sell the kits. I would love to have one that is as beautiful as your 16.

They sell finished rifles and smooth bores. I believe they also sell two different grades of kits. If you don’t like something that they offer, you can ask for exactly what you want for a price. I’ve bought from them twice now, and I’ll go to them again. Great people to talk to, and they do great work!

After waiting 19 months, it’s finally here. 16 gauge, with 44” tapered and flared barrel. It’s balanced beautifully even though its 5 feet long. It’s my second buy from TVM. I had it built with a 16 gauge instead of their straight barreled 20 gauge. I’m very pleased with it!
My first fowler was a TVM. It lives with my best friend now but boy was it well made. Wonderful wood and top notch work. Enjoy! 16 gauge was a great choice.

That is absolutely beautiful! My TVM Fowler 20 gauge is the finest shooting gun I own. Enjoy! The feel of a finely tuned machine does something crazy to ones head!

Gorgeous photos! Great looking gun! So, if this is TVM, this really represents well for them! Best of luck!

😉😆

I’m gonna to take it out tomorrow. I’ve got a bag of #5, and some .648 rb. Gonna see if it can hold a pattern without using a paper shot cup, but I’ll make some and try them as well. I’ll try bare ball using wad and card, then try patching them. I’m not sure what it’s going to favor, or even if I might need smaller or larger ball. The .648 definitely rolls down a clean barrel with almost enough room to rattle. I’m going to be forced to use Goex, as all my Swiss is in 3F. I don’t mind Goex but am more partial to the Swiss. I’ll let y’all know how it goes and try ti take some pictures.
