My uncle gave my 11 year old son an old cut down cva Kentucky rifle in .45. it's basically a junker he would shoot skunks on his property with. Got to looking at it and may dress it up a little to look like a mini plains rifle. Ordered a nose cap barrel rib and some ramrod pipes. It won't be fancy but may be good practice and make a good plinker for him.

Got some work done on the little rifle. Fit the nose cap and sights. Also inlet and pinned the entry thimble. Next is the barrel rib.

Almost done just have to oil the stock brown the barrel. Messed up trying to drill and tap the screws for the barrel rib so just soldered it on.
