No, unlike your agitator, troll self, I judge people on what they say, and also unlike yourself, it don't take a mental giant to see where this guys politics are, that and his liberal 4 H avatar speaks volumes.

Is that clear enough for you sweetheart? View attachment 162476

Nuffsaid...
Like I have said many times, You are entitled to your opinion, just like I am. That is all it is, your opinion. You no nothing of the person etc. How clear is that?

I'm not sure what your issue with 4-H is. I run my county's 4-H Shooting Sports program, and also operate a 4-H Homeschool Muzzleloading program. I'm really not sure if you even know what 4-H is....I'm doing work to introduce youth to Shooting Sports, and the sport of Muzzleloading specifically.

Regardless, sweetheart, I'm seeing a troll here, and it's certainly not me. You just keep on doing your thing man, I'm not here to be insulted, I know what I do and what I stand for.
He isn't worried about you , he is all wound up about me because I will not get on the Trumper bandwagon. I vote Conservative and always have, but I will not support Trump.

So what's the alternative? Piss and moan on internet forums all the time? Watch cable news and become outraged and miserable? Walk out on my family and career and take up arms?

What's wrong with a regular guy, going to work everyday, enjoying the good things in life and taking the bad in stride? So far it's made for a pretty enjoyable existence for me an mine....
Whats the big deal? Things aren't so ba.a.a.a.d...

To the gentleman that came to NY Saratoga County and is very happy, I am glad, but you are in the minority. For those of us who have lived here for over 60 years, we remember what it once was and are sick over what it has become.
To the person that said that we just need to get out and vote. NYC and the other population centers vote Democrat as seen on the map. That causes the NYS Assembly which has 150 members to be made up of 106 Democrats and only 43 Republicans. This is even changing as the NY City people flee the city and move upstate, not to mention that NYC itself owns most of several counties. Delaware county is 51% owned by NYC and so they control all that occurs there in an effort to "protect their water"
Things here in NY are so bad that we lost 300,000 people last year alone. The laws that were passed will do nothing to stop violent crime or keep anyone safe. They have everything to do with controlling people, which we knows means that only people that obey laws will be controlled and the criminals will continue to run rampent.
On a nation wide topic, I would suggest that if you wish to purchase any "sporting goods" in another state that you bring lots of cash as the Democrats are now forcing the credit card companies to report your transactions to them so they can keep track of what you are purchasing.

As I have been saying for many years now, will the last person to leave NY please turn out the lights.

I hope to move to free America such as where my son lives in MO, but the wife, another native NY refuses to move. It may come down to move with me or I move without you.

well, that is a tough one, but if it was me I'd have to stay in NY, I kind of like the wife!!! :ghostly:

We've been married 41 years, grown use to each other. I put up with her things, she puts up with mine. But an old saying comes to mind... take my wife, sure,,,,my dog, maybe.... but don't come looking for my guns.

HMMMM the wife or my guns ... my guns cost less to enjoy they never complain and increase in value as they age the wife well.......... not so much

From what I hear, muzzleloaders and reenactors in particular have now been exempted from any new restrictions in the new NYS gun legislation. This is as of Sept, 9, 2022. So....what is all the complaining about?

Apparently not many have seen this new development. I know that I have not seen it.

Where did you hear that? While the governor seems to have implied that, there is no codified law stating any exceptions for antique guns/muzzleloaders or re-enactments. According to the letter of the new law, illegal. Unless one is willing to use the defense that they heard the governor said it was okie dokie and become a test case, probably not a good idea. Hopefully it gets worked out.

It may not have been actually codified yet, but it will. Black powder firearms are not a target of gun control initiatives, because they aren't even close to being a part of the cause of the horrendous number of firearm deaths in America. Even Canada, which has pretty tough gun laws, classifies a flintlock as an "antique firearm" and thus will allow me to cross the border with it.....and the ammunition. Police in New York State have already stated that they would not arrest or ticket a reenactor taking part in an event.

Police don't arrest criminals either now. You can think or believe muzzleloaders are not included but I'll Wait to see it in the CPL or see it signed with Hochul's paw print .Just because you believe doesn't make it so

Can you at least let us know what the proposed law is and when it is expected to be up for a vote?
