Offering a cased 44 percussion pistol. Hefty walnut stock and straight 9-inch barrel, 7/8 across the flats. A few very minor scratches on the stock. Finish on the exposed barrel surface is thinning but no spotting and taking a nice natural patina. Bore is in good shape, some light frosting in the grooves that should clean up with a proper size bore brush.

There are no maker's marks on the lock or barrel, but looks a lot like an earlier Dixie or Numrich kit -a Kentuckian or Minuteman maybe. Trigger guard is held only by the tang bolt, and the guard is not shaped as seen on Jukar or Ardessa guns.

Comes to you in a red lined case along with all the goodies needed to start shooting, less caps and powder: brass flask, bag bullet mold, nipple wrench, powder measure, new spare nipple, patches, around 100 DGW .430 round balls and half a box of .433 (I have heard these older .44's like the .433 RB).

Offered at $360 $325 shipped to you in the US. PM for details.

I did not make the case. As some of the accessories (and probably the gun also) came from Dixie, the case likely did as well. Dixie still offers cases -but other places sell them, and Etsy can be a place to look, if you want just a case.
