For your consideration a .50 cal Hawken I acquired in 2017 NOS at my local sports shop at the time. At one point out in the field I took a tumble and broke the original stock at the wrist. Went to Pecatonica and got a 80% #1 Maple stock. Thus began the rebuild. Finished out the lock mortise, butt plate, and nose cap by hand. In the meantime barrel was sent to Hoyt Nov 2019 for an examination and he did a recut to .11 deep. I slowly put it back together and completed a working reliable Rifle. The frizzen is a reworked Lyman as the stock T/C frizzens were not so good. I did a complete browning of the barrel and lock to give it a different look. All in all a good shooter. Twist is 1/48. Asking $450.00 Prefer the North Carolina Piedmont region to avoid shipping hassles. Thanks for looking
