For sale is a Jaeger rifle I made a couple years ago. Gun has a Rice swamped Jaeger barrel. .58 caliber 1-66" twist. Cherry stock. Davis Jaeger lock I tuned and reshaped....FANTASTIC sparking lock. Iron hardware. Has a flip up sight that works great...doesn't flop around. Double set trigger which can be fired set or unset. 13.5" length of pull and weighs 8.6#s on a digital postal scale. Comes with a box of hornady .570 balls and will ship in a plastic hardcase.

The only issues with the gun are there's a small chip at the nosecap and various dings .....also my inletting isn't as tight as I'm capable of now. In my defense this is an incredible hard and chippy piece of cherry. I was told this blank was aged almost 30 years. Also the box is inlet a little deeper than usual. I went back and changed that after I built it because the button was diggin' into my shoulder with any load heavier than 80 grains.

Price is $1600 shipped. payment by discreet paypal friends, postal money order.

Barrel length?

Thank you, the trigger guard is best left as is. I shaped the finials on the guard so noone makes anything that would replace it.

The sling is a Tourbon, not exactly HC but close enough for me....canvas, brass and leather. They make a green one...which is what I ordered but got this one. I saw an original Jaeger sling one time that's a very similar green. The way the sling attachmentsare made they work great for a longrifle swivel and stud.
