Finished this one up for my nephew today. First picture is before aging it. Finally cooled off a little so its not quite as hot at the forge. Thanks for looking!

Thank you for the comments! That is a dried rawhide strip wrapped with the ends tucked under the wrap. I put a little leather glue on it for safe measure but it don't need it really. I stretched it while I wrapped it while it was wet and it dried up tight.
