Just do the math. Obviously 2000 MPH is not realistic. 200 MPH = 3.3 M/MIN = 17,424 FT/Min = 290.4 FT/Sec. I don't know what the expected velocity of a BP muzzle loaded cannon would be, so have no idea if that is a reasonable approximation of cannon velocity.
 
200mph would equal 293fps. And that would most likely be a bit slow on speed. A black powder ships cannon probably fired around 700 to 1100fps. And that would be 477 to 750 mph. Anyway at least 2 to 3 times of the remark 200mph.
