Here is my Leatherman bag with the hair on, I think it looks good with a Jaeger

Anyone on here a bag from The Leatherman? Just wondering about the quality.
They are quality and well-made; but if you look at the 'super authentic' bags being made by the modern craftsmen, the Leathermen are not period authentic, so if you want a good long lasting hunting bag, go Leatherman, if you want a period-authentic bag, go with the custom makers.

I have one of his flint wallets. Very well made and a good price, Plus the shipping was so fast

Three of his bags and a bunch of other items, like cow’s knees etc, are in use here, with three different rifles. All excellent quality and quite durable. I hunt hard, in brush, and all my hunting clothing and kit is torn, scratched, marked up. His bags have held up surprisingly well for many years.

Would just like to echo pretty much everyone else: his bags are fantastic. Super authentic? No, but so we'll made that you won't care one iota. Buy em.

Here's my only one so far. Got the leather strap instead of the cloth. Had to shorten it significantly though for a high ride.

I have several of his bags, much prefer the leather straps. His woven horn straps are really nice as well.

For fur trade impressions I don’t think the manufactured look is inappropriate at all. Great value for the price.

I use this bag for my two .62 mountain guns. (Won’t say Hawken, since this one just starts fights!!…)

This is his small bucktail bag, he quit making this one…too bad it’s the perfect size…and his horn strap.

This is what I use for my 1810 fur hunter impression based on my relative John Neuman. He was on the Corps of Discovery and then remained on the frontier until being killed in a fight with the Sioux on the Missouri River in 1838. Rifle is a .58 Tennessee gun from TVM.

That's a sharp looking kit. The buffalo horn is a nice complement to the plains rifle. 👍
