This was a Mowry kit, from down in Texas prior to them closing down, as per the paperwork and the newspaper the brass forestock was wrapped in. Not sure if anyone has restarted a reproduction line of those.
Just wondering because I know where there is one in 50 caliber and it's all brass

KILLER! they are a gun that you don't see all that often. keep me informed on the range report. I have an original one that THE BROS, ON THE OLD ISLAND IN NY, back in the day made it into a shot gun. BANNERMAN'S on the island.

I dont say this often but you have a gem. I had to go back and look at it again!!
